The social schemes - Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) - two insurance products and one a pension product - are mainly targeted at the unorganized sector and economically weaker sections. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) has been subscribed by 2.96 crore, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) by 9.43 crore and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) 26 lakh since its launch.
