NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS PORTAL IN DIGITAL INDIA PROGRAMME

Digital India programme will be launched by PM Modi on 1 July 2015 at 4 PM at New Delhi. In this Digital India programme many digital programmes will be launched .In this Digital India programme the programme which are included are Digital Locker, E-Hospital and National Scholarships Portal .The National Scholarships Portal is launched by Ministry of Minority Affairs, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The main purpose to launch this National Scholarships Portal is provide simplicity to student and Institutes in apply Scholarship and track their scholarship amount status.

10 POINTS ABOUT NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS PORTAL

1. To apply scholarship for any student he/she has to visit the National Scholarships Portal which is listed below.

2. In this National Scholarships Portal there will be a common application form for all Scholarship programmes.
3. In this National Scholarships Portal the student has to do only one time registration for scholarship i.e. for different scholarship programme student has not to do registration again and again. Only one time registration will work.
4. In this National Scholarships Portal it has ability to check the ability of the student and according to the ability it will suggest Scholarship programme to the student.
5. In this portal more transparency is there i.e. in this portal there is no scoop of duplicate application form for scholarship.
6. In this the scholarship amount is directly transferred to student bank account through DBT.
7. The registration at national Scholarship portal is done through Aadhaar number.
